Mobilia has assembled 29 of the finest Japanese artists, from established masters to emerging talents, for this wonderful exhibition. On display are jewelry, silver and enameled vessels, and copper sculptures. In addition to pieces crafted from precious metals and gemstones, there is jewelry made from materials such as bamboo, folded fabric, paper and cardboard, using techniques like lacquer and enamelling, in a seamless blend of tradition with contemporary notions of adornment and design. All the pieces in this sparkling array are characterized by beautiful design and exquisite craftsmanship.
