Cynthia Toops and Dan Adams

Dan Adams and Cynthia Toops are a husband and wife who collaborate in the
design and fabrication of extraordinary jewelry, combining Dan's lamp-worked
glass beads with Cynthia's polymer clay art. Dan has developed a number of new
techniques incorporating glass and polymer clay, while Cynthia is especially
admired for her mosaic work. Hundreds of hair-fine threads of clay are inlaid to
create minutely detailed designs on beads, brooches, and other objects.
Both Dan and Cynthia draw their inspiration from ancient artifacts and folk crafts.
Together they create jewelry that is exuberant, witty, and unique.
